10 More COVID-19 Cases Confirmed In The Panhandle

SCOTTSBLUFF – Panhandle Unified Command confirmed 10 more cases of COVID-19 on Thursday, single community spread cases in Cheyenne and Scotts Bluff Counties and 8 close-contact cases in Scotts Bluff.

There have now been 167 cases in the Panhandle out of 3,143 tests completed – a cumulative positivity rate of 5%.- with 88 recoverings, 79 active cases, 6 active hospitalizations and 22 total hospitalizations. There have been no COVID-19 deaths in the Panhandle

The statewide death total listed by Nebraska Health and Human Services actually dropped 3 yesterday 186, apparently reflecting earlier duplications. 251 new cases brought the total to 15,117 out of 114,974 total tests completed.
