11th Prison Staffer Tests Positive For COVID-19

LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) – The Nebraska Department of Correctional Services says another prison staffer has tested positive for COVID-19, bringing the agency’s total to 11.

Only 3 inmates have tested positive and all 3 are at a work-release center in Omaha.

The latest staffer to be diagnosed works at the Lincoln Correctional Center and is self-isolating at home. Correction services is notifying employees and inmates at the center and directing anyone who had close contact with the staffer to self-quarantine until medically cleared.
