Darnell Basil Eagle Louse  “Ta Cega Tanka” was born on August 1, 1954 in Pine Ridge, SD to Charles Eagle Louse, Jr. and Goldie Broken Nose.  Darnell made his journey to the Spirit World on November 6, 2020 at the Sanford Medical Center in Sioux Falls, SD.

Darnell attended school at Loneman Day School & Bishop Hare Boarding School.  He also attended Black Hills Workshop.

Darnell followed the footsteps of his grandpa Basil Broken Nose and became a Lay Reader in the Episcopal Church.  He attended many church functions and offered prayers when needed.
