4 New COVID-19 Cases In Dawes County

SCOTTSBLUFF – Panhandle Unified Command confirmed 9 COVID-19 cases Thursday including 4 in Dawes County.

Identities are not released, but one case was a teenage girl listed as community spread – apparently the unnamed Chadron High volleyball player announced earlier Thursday as a confirmed COVID-19 case

. The other 3 new Dawes County case could be connected to her. They are a teenage boy and a man and woman both in their 40s, and all are listed as close contacts of an infected person.

The Panhandle now has 428 confirmed cases with 359 recoveries and 6 deaths, leaving 63 active cases including 2 who are hospitalized.
