Photo by Kerri Rempp The Alliance JV defeated the Sioux County boys 50-32 Thursday night in a match-up that will not appear on Sioux County’s official NSAA record. The Bulldogs raced out to a 17-6 lead in the first quarter, and while Sioux County was able to pull within seven points in the second, Alliance managed a 24-14 advantage at half-time. A strong third quarter, in which Alliance went on an 18-9 run, put the Bulldogs in good position to win. The Warriors did outscore Alliance 9-8 in the final eight minutes as they were able to step up on defense and hit three field goals and went three-for-three from the free throw line. Tucker Monroe led the Warriors with 13 points.
