Funeral services for 44-year old Andrew Bear Robe Jr are Saturday, April 3rd, at 2:00 PM at the residence of Bonita Andrews in Pine Ridge, SD, with traditional Lakota services by Mr Dave Swallow
Cremation will follow the services with burial at a later date.
A one-night wake service starts Friday, April 2, 2021 at 2:00 PM, also at the residence of Bonita Andrews in Pine Ridge
Andrew Willard Bear Robe, Jr. was born on September 4, 1976 in Pine Ridge, SD to Andrew Bear Robe, Sr. and Bonita Andrews. Andrew, Jr. made his journey to the Spirit World on March 23, 2021 in Rapid City, SD.
Andrew, Jr. is survived by his mother, Bonita Andrews; son, Antoine Blue Bird; brothers, Sam Bear Robe, Sr. and Faron Apple; sister, Pauline Apple; grandparents, Georgia Tail, Eli Tail, and Joyce Bear Robe; aunts, Karen Red Elk, Gloria No Neck, Erna Shepard, Eva Mesteth and Sonja DuBray; uncle, Don Mesteth, Sr.; cousins, Maxine Running Hawk, Heather Janis and Vienna Janis; special friend, Anne Shaw; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and relatives.
Andrew, Jr. was preceded in death by his father, Andrew Willard Bear Robe, Sr.; sister, Tessie Lee Bear Robe; aunts, Julie (Janis) Bear Robe, Agnes Bear Robe, Lenora Running Hawk and Caroline Yellow Boy; uncles, Ole Bear Robe, Charles Bear Robe, Tyrone Mesteth, Dean Andrews, Sr., Jeff Tail, Matt Mesteth, Sr. and Eric Brown Bull; and cousins, TJ Mesteth, Shilo Pourier, Kyle Mesteth, Darmalee Tail, and Mona Mesteth.
Pallbearers will be Sheldon Mesteth, Jackson Mesteth, Samuel Bear Robe, Shawn Tail, BJ Blue Bird, Mike Bordeaux and Chad White Feather.
Honorary pallbearers will be All Friends & Relatives.
