Another Candidate Enters Wyo U-S Senate Race

GLENROCK, Wyo. (AP) – Another Republican has entered the race for the Wyoming U-S Senate seat of retiring Republican Mike Enzi.

Converse County Commissioner Robert Short announced his candidacy Monday with a campaign kickoff rally at a hotel in Glenrock.

Short plans to run as a “centrist Republican” who’s focused on building the state’s energy extraction, tourism and agriculture industries.

He’s among 7 Republicans and Democrats running, a field highlighted by former GOP state treasurer and Congresswoman Cynthia Lummis of Cheyenne.
