Anti-Vax Protesters Sue Noem Over Denial For Demonstration At The Capitol

Protesters opposed to COVID-19 vaccine mandates in South Dakota are suing Governor Kristi Noem because the state has denied their application to demonstrate on Capitol grounds during next week’s special legislative session on redistricting.

State officials say the denial was totally unrelated to the subject of the protest or any concerns about it; they were turned down because the Capitol grounds are being decorated for a Christmas display.

The protesters say they planned to hold a demonstration to push the Legislature to take up a bill that would keep businesses from requiring vaccines as a condition of employment.

Noem strongly opposes vaccine mandates, making it ironic that she’s one of the defendants in the suit.
