Burial is at the Jumping Eagle Family Cemetery in Manderson.

Arlana Stands was born on August 18, 1973 in Denver, CO, to Albert Armentrout and Tina Jumping Eagle. Arlana made her journey to the Spirit World on June 12, 2022 in Manderson, SD.
Arlana is survived by her father & stepmother, Albert & Doreen Armentrout of Sioux Falls, SD; daughter, Kristina Stands; sons, David Nardini, Christopher Romero, Jacob Lentz, Joseph Stands, and Donavan Stands; siblings, Krystena Prue, Oliver Armentrout, Allison Armentrout, & Robert Charging Whirl, All of Sioux Falls, SD, and Bernice Emery of Manderson, SD; and 3 grandsons.
Arlana was preceded in death by her mother, Tina Jumping Eagle; spouse, Joey Stands; son, Murry Romero; brother, Efren Dominguez; grandmother, Majorie Jumping Eagle; grandfather, Oliver Jumping Eagle; aunt, Bernice Garcia; uncles, Tony Garcia, Budger Brewer, and Billy Jumping Eagle; and cousins, Stephany Brewer, Nathan Brewer, and Michael Brewer.
Pallbearers will be Shane Jumping Eagle, David Nardini, Jacob Lentz, Kevin Yellowbird-Steele, Christopher Romero, Eloy Romero, Donavan Stands, and Joseph Stands.
