RAWLINS, Wyo. (AP) – Testing of all inmates, staff and healthcare workers at Wyoming’s maximum-security prison in Rawlins has detected at least 10 cases of the coronavirus. Wyoming was among just a couple states with no known coronavirus among inmates.
The Wyoming Dept of Corrections says as of yesterday, 876 inmates and workers at the State Penitentiary had been tested with 3 inmates, one staff member and 6 healthcare workers having the virus.
Full results are still pending and the prison remains locked own because of the positive results with contact tracing under way.
