Aubrey Nia Dreaming Bear was born on April 3, 2021 in Pine Ridge, SD to Dakota Dreaming Bear and Beau Blacksmith. Aubrey made her journey to the Spirit World on June 1, 2021 in Oglala, SD.
Aubrey Nia Blacksmith was truly a gift. She had a beautiful smile and brought joy, happiness, and love to everyone who met her and knew her. She was loved by all and will be greatly missed.
Aubrey is survived by her parents, Dakota Dreaming Bear and Beau Blacksmith; sisters, Johanna High Hawk, Sabrina Dreaming Bear, Leilani Johnson, Anaisha Blacksmith and Aanya Blacksmith; brother, Xavier Jumping Eagle; aunts, Alisha Blacksmith, Amber Blacksmith, Alissa Blacksmith and Bessie Blacksmith; uncles, Wayne Dreaming Bear and Phillip Dreaming Bear; and grandparents, Delayne Blacksmith, Belinda Two Lance, Melissa Blacksmith, Elizabeth Blacksmith, Julie Blacksmith, Delmar Dreaming Bear, Grace Good Voice Elk, William Good Voice Elk, Sr., Charles Good Voice Elk, Sr., Stanley Good Voice Elk, and Wilma Good Voice Elk.
Aubrey was preceded in death by her aunt. Mary Dreaming Bear; grandmother, Delma Good Voice Elk; and great grandparents, Jessie Bear Robe and Pete Blacksmith, Sr.
Pallbearers will be Beau Blacksmith, Naomi Garnier, Dirk Garnier and Delayne Blacksmith.
Honorary pallbearers will be All Friends & Relatives.
