Graveside services for 55-year old Audrey June Lakota are Monday, November 2, 2020 at 1:00 PM at the Lakota Family Cemetery, #4 Community, Pine Ridge, SD.
Visitation will precede the services starting at 11:00 AM at the Sioux Funeral Home in Pine Ridge
Audrey June Lakota was born on May 10, 1965 in Pine Ridge, SD to Harry Lakota and Pearl (Red Breast Bear) Lakota. Audrey made her journey to the Spirit World on October 21, 2020 in Denver, CO.
Audrey graduated from Red Cloud High School. She loved to ride horses. She enjoyed being around family and friends. Audrey was a great mother, sister, auntie, and grandma.
Audrey is survived by her children, Cherish White Face and Harry Lakota; sisters, Harriet (Chauncy) White Face and Nellie Lakota; and brothers, Maynard (Lila) Cortier and Lester Cortier, Sr.
Audrey was preceded in death by her parents, Harry Lakota and Pearl Lakota; sisters, Jerilyn Fast Wolf and Wanda Lakota; and brothers, Gilbert Lakota, Charles Cortier, and Stacy Cortier.
Pallbearers will be J.D. Two Bulls, Joe Dixon, Pony Pettibone, Shawn Cortier, Willis Lakota, Wayne Cortier, D.J. Cortier, Adrian Cortier, Eric Lakota, and Harley Cortier, Jr.
