Behrends Scorches Course In Ogallala With Season Best 73, Places 2nd

Jacksyn Behrends ripped off the round of the year by firing a 73 at Thursday’s regular season ending Ogallala Invite and taking 2nd place. Behrends finished behind Scottsbluff’s Austin Thyne who fired a 70.

Chadron tied with McCook for 3rd in the team standings with matching scores of 334.

Scottsbluff finished at the top with a 320. Ogallala carded a 325.

It was a tough day to get inside the top 10 with the worst score being an 8-over, 80.

Chase Olson finished with an 84 and Broc Berry carded an 85. Trey Hendrickson rounded out the team card with a 92. Shawn Schremmer fired a 102.

Attention now turns to districts on Monday in McCook.
