Funeral services for 54-year old Beto Rodriguez Sr are Monday, March 15, 2021 at 1:00 at the Tabernacle Church in Black Hawk, SD, with Pastor Irving Fields officiating.
Cremation will follow the services with burial at a later date.
Visitation precedes the funeral starting at noon, also at the Tabernacle Church in Black Hawk
Beto James Rodriguez, Sr. was born on December 12, 1966 in Rapid City, SD to Andres Rodriguez and Leona Fire Thunder. Beto made his journey to the Spirit World on March 4, 2021 at the Monument Health Hospital in Rapid City, SD.
Beto is survived by his wife, Ruth Henry-Rodriguez; children, Charity and Brittney Rodriguez, both of Rapid City, SD and Beto Rodriguez, Jr. of Sioux Falls, SD; siblings, Ben (Venus) Rodriguez of Rapid City, SD, Debra (Leon) Peltier, Carmen Janis, Andrea (Tom) Looker, and Andrew (Miranda) Rodriguez, all of Washington, and Marlene Rodriguez of Texas; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, friends and relatives.
Beto was preceded in death by his parents, Andres Rodriguez and Leona Fire Thunder; brothers, Andy Rodriguez, Lloyd Fire Thunder, Raymond Rodriguez, Jim Rodriguez and Cecil Rodriguez; grandchildren, Lily, Oliver and Richard; niece, Leona Janis; and nephew, Joshua Janis.
Pallbearers will be Cranston Afraid of Bear, Isaac Crow, Nathaniel Peltier, Charles Rodriguez, Jonathan Rodriguez, Nicholas Rodriguez, Jeffrey Rodriguez and Christopher Rodriguez.
Honorary pallbearers will be All Friends, Family & Relatives.
