Friday night the 20th of May, 2022 ranchers and farmers from NW Nebraska were treated to an Ag Appreciation Dinner put on by the Chadron Chamber Ag Committee.
Previously held in January each year, a change in venue and date was explored to what appeared to be a success. Cooks worked hard to deliver more of a picnic style lunch as opposed to the traditional “meat and potatoes” meal; with ice cream bars to follow. Contributions and gifts provided by area businesses and given away at the Dinner have always been a high point in the evening and this year was no different. In terms of numbers, this revived annual event was reportedly attended by 400 with 50 volunteers.
