2022 Honor Flight

After a few years of being grounded because of pandemic health concerns, the 13th Veterans Memorial Honor Flight left Chadron this morning with close to a dozen Vets and accompanying helpers. Over the years, there have been any number of WW2 and Korean War Vets that have been able to participate in this once in a lifetime honoring flight. Today’s Honor Flight Vets were entirely Vietnam Era Vets which is a grouping of vets usually considered to have been on active duty anytime between November 1955 – May 1975.

Thanks to the organizing committee, law enforcement and Legion Riders escort, the families and vets themselves. See ya when you get back and we look forward to hearing all about it.
