Boutique Airlines Ending Rapid City-Chadron-Denver Flights April 30

As expected after it lost the federal Essential Air Service subsidy for the Chadron-Denver route, Boutique Air is ending the Rapid City-Chadron-Denver route it added in February.

The airline announced the service as part of its bid to keep the EAS contract, but the federal Dept of Transportation earlier this month awarded the contract to Southern Airlines. The Rapid City service ends at the end of this month.

Rapid City is also losing a route before it even began. United had announced it would start a seasonal route to San Francisco this summer, but cancelled those plans last week.
