The chances of RV sales giant Camping World opening a location in Sidney may have dimmed with the company’s announcement Thursday that it was building a SuperCenter in Cheyenne.
Camping World Chairman and CEO Marcus Lemonis posted on Facebook last August that the company was planning on coming to Sidney and Lincoln. Last month, it officially announced a LIncoln site, but said nothing about Sidney.
Thursday’s announcement on the purchase of 9-acres along Interstate 80 in Cheyenne also had no mention of a Sidney location.
In the release, Lemonis did say the company is excited to be adding its first location in Wyoming with an anticipated opening by late this year or early next year..
