The Cardinals went three and out after receiving the opening kickoff and the Stars took control from there, scoring on back to back drives for a 14-0 lead, before Chadron blocked a Kearney Catholic field goal on the Stars third trip down the field. Kearney Catholic would tack on another touchdown in the second quarter to build a 21-0 halftime lead. Three more scores in the third quarter put the game out of reach as the running clock took over in the fourth quarter. Chadron ends the year at 6-3 while the Stars advance to the quarterfinals.
