The Chadron High softball team fell for the 3rd straight time on Tuesday night as they lost at home to Gering 9-2.
Gering scored a pair of runs in each the 1st and 3rd innings but the Cards would rally for runs in both the 4th and 5th innings to cut the deficit in half.
A four run 6th and an insurance run in the 7th were enough for the Bulldogs.
Ember Diers had the only RBI of the night on a double that drove in Josie Downing, while Cali Hendrickson accounted for the other Cardinal run on a throwing error.
Chadron will face Cozad and Gothenburg in Ogallala on Thursday.
