The Cardinals made quick work of the Longhorns first in a 10-0, 4-inning victory. Kinley Richardson showed why they call her speedy with a 2-run, inside the park home run in the bottom of the 1st inning.

It took heroics from Rhembrandt and Rutledge for Chadron to pull off the come from behind win over Alliance 8-7.

Trailing 7-6 in the bottom of the 7th, Rhembrandt smoked a solo homer to center field to tie the game at 7. Three batters later Rutledge would drive in Pourier for the winning run.

Chadron jumped out to a 5-0 after the 1st inning but Alliance responded with 5 in the top of the 4th.

The Cards reclaimed the lead at 6-5 with a Diers RBI in the bottom of the fram, but against the Bulldogs came back and took the lead with two runs in the top of the 5th.
