Chadron Wrestlers Take Fourth In Ogallala Posted by Jeremy Anderson Date: January 11, 2021 232 Views Photo Courtesy: Vince Bickel The Chadron High wrestling team finished 4th at the Ogallala Duals on Saturday, led by a pair of 5-0 days from Sawyer Haag and Kade Waggener. Haag pinned three of his opponents while earning an 8-1 decision in his other contested match. Waggener wrestled just three contested matches and won by pin in each one. As a team, Chadron’s only win came against Mullen 39-24. Three of their losses came to the teams that finished in the top three, Ogallala, Sidney, and Gothenburg. The other loss came to Alliance. Ryan Bickel, Daniel Wellnitz, and Braden Underwood all went 4-1 individually. Rhett Cullers went 3-2, Dalton Stewart finished 1-4, and Uzziah Shwartz and Fia Rasmussen were winless. Chadron is back in Ogallala for a dual on the 15th before the Gothenburg dual tournament on the 16th.
