Funeral services for 36-year old Charles Ray “Charlie” Badger Jr are Friday, July 3, 2020 at 11:00 AM at the Woyatan Lutheran Church in Rapid City, SD, with Pastor Elton Yellow Boy and Eldon Black Bull officiating.
Burial services will follow at the White Butterfly-Catches Cemetery on Mission Flat in Pine Ridge, SD
A one-night wake service starts Thursday, July 2, 2020, at 4:00 PM, also at the Woyatan Lutheran Church in Rapid City with evening services at 7:00 PM
Charles Ray Badger, Jr. was born on October 3, 1983 in Rapid City, SD to Louise Frog and Charles Badger Sr and made his journey to the Spirit World on June 25, 2020 at the Monument Health Hospital in Rapid City, SD.
Charles was preceded in death by his son, Mato Siers; brother, Mitchell Yellow Wolf; maternal grandparents, Dennis & Philomena Frog; and paternal grandparents, Bernadette Badger-Tuttle and Herman Tuttle, Sr.
Charles is survived by his mother, Louise Frog; father, Charles Badger, Sr.; significant other, Candace Durroh; step children, Mila Siers, Alex Durroh, and Antwone Durroh; siblings, Christopher Bald Eagle, Jr., Todd Badger, Kelley Rae Catches, Aloysius Richards, Wiconi Long Soldier, and Christian Good Lance; and special friend, Randy Black Crow.
Pallbearers will be Leonard Brings Plenty, Jr., Thomas Tuttle, Wayne Tuttle, Sr., David LeClaire, Michael Two Eagle, Steven Fly, Jr., Trey New Holy, Dennis “DJ” Kills Right, and Alex Durroh.
