Production Assistant Position Available (Full-Time/Part-Time)
Opening new location soon! Charcoal House, LLC. is in Crawford, NE and offers competitive pay starting at $12/hour or more depending upon experience. Paid time off (PTO) is available after three months.  Assistant will work with a diverse line of activated charcoal health and beauty products.  A production assistant prepares and finalizes products before they are shipped. This includes but is not limited to filling containers, cleaning various sized containers, labeling products with or without a label machine, and shrink-wrapping smaller containers. This position is entry level. Must be able to work efficiently and independently. The ideal candidate will be dependable, ambitious, hardworking, and have excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Ability to use hands & wrists, bend, stoop, kneel, go up and down stair/step ladders, reach
above your head and stand for extended periods of time.
· High attention to detail and accuracy
· Basic computer skills
· Must have proven track record of punctuality with minimal absenteeism
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work
- Proven ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision
- Feed raw materials into production machinery while assisting occasionally in the warehouse
· Maintain a clean work environment
- Assemble products
· Pack and label products to be shipped, stock shelves, and light cleaning
· Establish an effective and efficient work sequence
· Forklift skills are a plus but not necessary
Hours of Operation: Monday-Thursday 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. and Friday 7:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. No nights, weekends, or holidays
This is a non-smoking, and perfume-free job site. Smoke and strong odors affect the products you will be working with and cannot be present on an individual at work.
Dress code requirements.  Employees receive paid holidays and paid time off after 3 months. Employees also receive 20% off Charcoal House products.
