Behavioral Health Service Coordinator

WCHR is seeking a full time Behavioral Health Service Coordinator for the Chadron or Alliance office.

The Behavioral Health Service Coordinator performs “case management” duties and is responsible for identification, referral and coordination of services for adults and youth with behavioral health needs.  This position will primarily work with individuals in behavioral health crisis that need access to services for stabilizations.  Also serves as the single point of contract in helping individuals gain needed services and assistance.

Preferred – Bachelor’s Degree or higher in psychology, sociology, social work, or a related human service field.  Two years’ experience in a health and/or human services or 24 semester hours of post high school education in behavioral science, social science, or closely related field or any combination of education and experience that equates to two years. 

Candidates must have experience with a broad variety of community agencies that provide services to adults, young adults, or families; experience in working with treatment of individuals with a mental health diagnosis; and working with culturally diverse individuals and/or families.
