A two-night wake service starts Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at 11:00, also at the Little Wound House of Prayer in Little Wound, SD.

Dillon Shane Montileaux-Trevino was born on April 15, 2002 in Pine Ridge, SD to Suzanna Montileaux-Trevino.  Dillon Shane Montileaux-Trevino made his journey to the Spirit World on August 17, 2021 at his home in Sioux Falls, SD.  

Dillon grew up in Sioux Falls, SD where he made friends with many people. He was the type of guy that made you feel loved, safe, and accepted. 

Dillon was brave and he always made sure his mother, nieces, nephews, and sisters were taken care of.  He did not judge a person; he saw the good in everyone.

Dillon is survived by his mother, SuzAnna Trevino, his two sisters, Rosemary Montileaux-Trevino and Maria Montileaux; Dillon is also survived by his two nieces, Letecia Eve Trevino, Aaliyah Galacia and his nephew, J.R. Miguel Galacia; and grandmother, Sheralda G. Montileaux.

Dillon was preceded in death by his great grandparents, Helena Bull Bear-Montileaux; great grandfather, Joseph “JoJo” Montileaux; and his uncles, Miguel Luis Valeraz aka Chub and Manuel “Ray” Fool Head.   

Pallbearers will be Romario Alvarado, Christian Bowman, Jayden Wesselink, Gary Welch, AJ Kimball, Alfredo Anaya, Jase Lone Hill, Manuelito Anaya, Emilio Gomez, Elden Denoyer, JJ Denoyer, Cayden Nelson, Kyler Nelson, Cayden Wittrock, Leavan Starr, Damon First In Trouble, Isiah Pourier, Aden Mendoza, Asah Mendoza, and KC Doai.  

Honorary pallbearers will be all friends and relatives.
