James Edward Staudenmaier was born to Charles and Josephine (Geiser) Staudenmaier on June 18, 1926 and passed away January 1, 2021. Jim lived on the family ranch and attended school at District 9 through the 8th grade. He ranched his entire life, going out the ranch even after retirement, as long as he could drive. Jim married the love of his life, Linda Nation, on February 6, 1971, and to this union two boys were born: Justin Earl, December 3, 1971, and Lyle Dean, February 28, 1975. Jim was a member of the Harrison Rural Fire Department up until retirement age. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother and wives: Robert and Oleta, Charles JR, George and Evelyn, and his sister Anna and Gayle Oldaker, and nephew Dan Staudenmaier. Jim is survived by his wife Linda, Son Justin (Deona) and children Casey (McKenzie), Riata, and Morgan, Son Lyle (Heather) and children Braden and Aspen. Sister-in-law Eldonna Nation and brother-in-law Steve Fernandez, and many nephews and nieces. Chamberlain Chapel of Chadron, NE, is in charge of arrangements for Jim Staudenmaier.
