Burial services will be at Wolf Creek Community Cemetery A one-night wake service starts at 5:00 PM, Saturday, April 4, 2020 at 5:00 PM, also at Rosemary Rowland’s residence. Ronald William Rowland, Sr. was born on June 26, 1960 in Pine Ridge, SD to Benton Francis Rowland, Jr. and Freda Pearl Yellow Hair. Ronald, Sr. made his journey to the Spirit World on March 29, 2020 at his home in Rapid City, SD. Ronald is survived by his daughters, Marion and Rosemary Rowland; sons, James, Benton, Arlin, Phillip, Tyler, and Ronald Rowland, Jr.; siblings, Ken Hart, Mark Fresquez, Daniel Fresquez, Benita Rowland, Mary Haugen, Michelle Shot-Gunn, Jessica Rowland, and Miranda Mousseau; and grandchildren, Cassius, Bradley, Benton IV, Tyler, Jr., Skylar, Adrian, Kenyon, Taylor, Hailey, Alexis, Jett, Jaylen, Jacob, and Jeremiah. Ronald was preceded in death by son, James F. Rowland; parents, Freda Yellow Hair and Benton Rowland II; brother, Reno Rowland; and sisters, Olene Rowland, Jessie Rowland, Francine Rowland, and Linda Rowland.
