Terence ‘Terry’ Snyder was born July 11, 1947, to Clarence and Donna (Johns) Snyder in Lincoln, NE.  He passed away January 7, 2022, at Gordon Countryside Care.

Terry attended school in Lincoln until he was drafted into the US Navy. He served from January 1967 to January 1971, receiving an honorable discharge as a Petty Officer 3rd Class. 

After the Navy, Terry returned to Lincoln where he raised three sons and worked for the US Postal Service for 25 years. On April 20, 1996, he married Sandra Knehans. 

They moved to LA where Terry enjoyed his job as a recruiter for MEPS. One thing he had to continuously remind the recruits was to remove their caps and pull up their pants.

Terry’s favorite hobby was fishing in Minnesota.

He is survived by his wife Sandy, sons Sam Snyder, Aaron Snyder and Courtney (Tossa) Fuller, and daughters Kandy (Robbie) Brown and Kassie (Billy) Hiatt.

Terry is also survived by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, brother Dennis Snyder, and mother-in-law Charlotte Knehans. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, son Jeff Snyder, and grandsons Zach Snyder and Braxton Fuller.
