Congresswoman Liz Cheney Decides To Seek Reelection

WASHINGTON, D.C. (AP) – If former Wyoming Republican Congresswoman Cynthia Lummis wasn’t already the prohibitive favorite to replace retiring U-S Senator Mike Enzi, she is now that current Congresswoman Liz Cheney has decided to stay in the House and run for reelection.

Cheney had declined to reveal her plans for months, but the daughter of former congressman, cabinet member, and vice president Dick Cheney who was a senior State Department official herself for President George W Bush has finally said she will seek a 3rd term in the House.

Liz Cheney is a rising GOP star in the House, already #3 in the hierarchy and one of the party’s most frequent spokespersons for using the same tough, no holds-barred language favored by her father.
