SCOTTSBLUFF – A Crawford couple is facing drug and weapons charges after Scottsbluff police found them with a sizable quantity of methamphetamine late Sunday night.
53-year-old Jeffrey and 35-year-old Shana Guest each face a count of possession of meth with Shana Guest also charged with felony possession of a deadly weapon by a prohibited person.
Court documents say officers responding to a distress call found a pickup and trailer in a parking lot. When they looked through the windows, they saw a glass smoking device.
The officers were then approached by the Guests and given permission to seach the pickup. They found over 140 grams – roughly 4 ounces – of meth in small sealable plastic bags while the glass pipes had what field-tested as meth residue.
