Opponents for Crawford and Gordon-Rushville are now known for the girls district finals next Friday.
Crawford earned the 6th seed in D2 and will play the 11th seed Silver Lake. The Rams enter at 19-4 after winning the D2-12 championship on Thursday night against Sioux County. It marks the 2nd district finals appearance for Crawford in the past three seasons.
The last district championship for Crawford came in 2015 when they defeated Leyton.
Silver Lake is 18-6 with just 5 wins over teams with winning records.
The game will be held at Paxton High School with a 5:30 pm MT tip time. We will have coverage on FM 107.7 KBPY and Chadrad.com.
Gordon-Rushville is in the district finals for the first time since 2009, it’s also the last time they won a district title. The Mustangs are the 9th seed in C2 and face #8 Oakland-Craig.
Gordon-Rushville is 19-6 and won the C2-12 over Bayard on Thursday.
Oakland -Craig is 17-7 and in a district final four the 3rd time in four years.
The two teams will meet at O’Neill High School with game time set for 5:00 pm MT.
