The Chadron State College Wind Symphony and the Chadron Community Band are offering a free concert Friday night at 7:00 in Memorial Hall.
It’s the first concert in nearly a year for both groups after the coronavirus pandemic wiped out their spring season about a month before their scheduled concert.
The bands usually perform one or two joint numbers, but the social distancing recommendations don’t leave enough room under Auditorium acoustic shell to fit all the members of both groups.
Masks are required for audience members and rows of seats across the auditorium have been closed off to provide 6-foot distancing between those from different families or living groups.
The concert will be live streamed from the college webpage CSC.edu and going to the college radio station kjzc radio https://www.csc.edu/kjzcradio/index.csc
