Funeral services for 54-year old Diane Miles are Friday, Dec 9, at 10:00 at the C Bear Memorial Gymnasium in Batesland, SD, with Pastor Ed Cutler officiating.
Burial will follow at 2:30 at the Black Hills National Cemetery in Sturgis, SD.
A one-night wake service starts at 3:30 PM, Thurs, Dec 8, at 3:30 at the C Bear Memorial Gymnasium in Batesland with evening services starting at 7:00.
Diane Mary (Harvey) Miles was born on March 20, 1968 in Pine Ridge, SD to George and Syrena (Bull Bear) Harvey. Diane made her journey to the Spirit World on December 2, 2022 at the Fall River Health Hospital in Hot Springs, SD.
Diane is survived by her children Aaron Miles, Cassie (Purvis Red Owl) Miles, Richard Miles, Samantha Wade, Shirley Wade, Suzie Wade, Brandi Miles, and Melody Randall; sisters Sandra (Dwight) Harvey-Black Crow, Pearly Harvey, and Tammy Harvey; brothers Richard Harvey and Arthur (Julie) Harvey; grandchildren Elleana Miles, Darrius Miles, Savannah Red Owl, Roman Red Owl, Vailynn Wade, Miracle Red Owl, and Billy Red Owl; and numerous nieces, nephews, & cousins.
Diane was preceded in death by her parents George and Syrena (Bull Bear) Harvey; aunt Zella Harvey; and uncle Wilbert Harvey.
Pallbearers will be Aaron Miles, Richard Miles, J.D. Black Crow, Reuben Harvey, Steven Harvey, Joseph Black Crow, and Michael Harvey.
Honorary pallbearers will be all friends & relatives.
