Funeral services for 68-year old Don “Coke” Doyle are Tuesday, Dec 7, 2021 at 1:00 at the T&T Center in Wanblee, SD, with Chris Grillo and Lay Minister Rita Brown officiating and traditional Lakota services by Mr Richard Moves Camp

Burial is at Gethsemane Episcopal Church Cemetery in Wanblee.

A two-night wake service starts Sunday, Dec 5, at 3:00, also at the T&T Center in Wanblee

Don James “Coke” Doyle was born on April 15, 1953 in Wanblee, SD to Clarence Wolf Guts and Algina Brown.  Don made his journey to the Spirit World on November 23, 2021 at the Monument Health Hospital in Rapid City, SD.

Don is survived by his wife of 42 years, Joyce (Yellow Elk) Doyle; daughters, Linda, Chardon, Charyn, and Dawn; step-daughter, Doreen Milk; sons, Tyler, Chance, and Colin; hunka daughters, Kathy Iron Rope, Tasha New Holy-Randall, Tanya Dull Knife, Shai Dull Knife, Corrie DeLeon, Naomi and Kateri Edwards, and Audrey Iron Rope; grandsons, Henry Lamont, DeShane Doyle, Treydon & Tyree Doyle, Bradlee Doyle, Joshua Lamont, Daelen Doyle, Taiyen Red Blanket, and Josiah Quiver; granddaughters, Amber Lamont, Stevie Quiver, Delilah & Ciara Lamont, Tatelyn & TyAnna Red Blanket, Miranda & Marissa Gay, Clarissa Doyle, Charlie, Carlie, & Caylie Doyle; great grandson, Davon Quiver, Mateo Lamont, Cassius Blue Legs, Leland & Cole Lamont, Giovanni Cavero, and Louie Perea, Jr.; great granddaughters, Shylee Quiver and Anna Lamont; brothers, Tony Quick Bear, Bobby Quick Bear, Lester Doyle, and Russell Mousseau; sisters, Sharon Wolf Guts, Linda Wolf Guts, and Myrtle Spotted Elk.  

Don was preceded in death by his grandmother who raised him, Lena Fast Wolf; mother, Algina Brown; father, Clarence Wolf Guts, sisters, Sharon Wolf Guts and Linda Wolf Guts; son-in-laws, Carlin “Sonny” Red Blanket and Robert “Bob”: Gay; and auntie Rose Taylor.  

Pallbearers will be Chance Milk, Earl Henry Lamont, Bradlee Doyle, Leonard Yellow Elk, Steven Quiver, Vaughn Janis, Merle Sitting Up, Chico “Russell” Mousseau, Toyer Brown, and Elgin Red Blanket.
