The number of new and active COVID-19 cases in Nebraska continued general downward trends yesterday.
Health and Human Services reported only 483 new cases along with 1,495 recoveries and 45 deaths as the number of active cases dropped to 63,863.
There were 693 hospitalizations, one more than on Sunday but still the second lowest since Nov 3rd.
The availability of hospital beds slipped 2 points to 35% and ICU beds by 1 point to 31% while available ventilators stayed at 71%. .
Nebraska has had 149,344 total cases along with 1,418 deaths and 84,063 recoveries since the beginning of the pandemic.
