Edward Little Whiteman

Funeral services for 48-year old Edward Everette Little Whiteman will be Monday, March 23, 2020, at 10:30 AM at the Community Church in Kyle, SD, with traditional Lakota service by Mr Juan Mesteth.

Burial services will be at St Barnabas Episcopal Cemetery, also in Kyle, SD

A one-night wake service starts Sunday, March 22, 2020, at 1:00 PM at the Community Church in Kyle, SD with evening services starting at 7:00 PM.

Edward Everette Little Whiteman was a veteran of the U-S Army and Sioux Funeral Home of Pine Ridge is in charge of his arrangements.

Edward Everett Little Whiteman was born on December 25, 1971 in Wagner, SD to Everette Little Whiteman and Madelyn Rose Fast Horse. Edward made his journey to the Spirit World on March 13, 2020 at the Verde Valley Medical Center in Cottonwood, AZ.

Edward Everett Little Whiteman had lived most of his life in Arizona, where he married, had their children, and had a good job with several of the tribal casinos for several years. He was a loving, caring, encouraging, compassionate, hard-working, provider for his family, especially his children.

He is survived by his wife, Carletta Shirley-Little Whiteman of AZ; his four children, Sergio Little Whiteman, Jazmine Little Whiteman, Aiden Little Whiteman and Ian Little Whiteman; his step-son, Donaldo Tsosie, all from AZ; his father, Everett Little Whiteman of Kyle, SD; his three older brothers, Vincent Little Whiteman of Rockyford, SD, Gregory Little Whiteman of West Wendover, NV, and Christopher Little Whiteman of Ft. Duchesne, UT; and his little sister, Madeline Little Whiteman-Goode of Pine Ridge, SD.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Madelyn Fast Horse-Little Whiteman from Kyle; his paternal grandparents, Louis Little Whiteman and Emily Morrison of Kyle; his maternal grandparents, Vincent Fast Horse and Edith Two Crow of Pine Ridge; and numerous uncles, aunts and other relatives.

Pallbearers will be Vincent Little Whiteman, Gregory Little Whiteman, Christopher Little Whiteman, Myron Goode, Rain Goode and Everette Fast Horse.

Honorary Pallbearers will be All Friends & Relatives.
