The Western Conference has released their postseason basketball teams. Chadron tallied 8 total honorees between the boys and girls squads.
Justus Alcorn and Dawson Dunbar were boys all-conference picks. The Cardinals finished the year at 13-10 and made their first appearance in a district championship game since 2017, losing to eventual C1 3rd place finisherKearney Catholic.
Gaurav Chima and Collin Brennan were named honorable mention.
Jacey Garrett and Demi Ferguson were girls all-conference selections for a Chadron squad that went into the postseason as the top seed and hosted the C1-12 sub-district tournament.
Laney Klemke and Jaleigh McCartney both earned honorable mention.
