Ernest Russell Steele, Jr. was born on December 8, 1954, in Rapid City, SD to Ernest Steele, Sr. and Estellene (Esther) Henderson. Ernest made his journey to the spirit world on January 23, 2021 at the Monument Health Home Plus Hospice in Rapid City, SD.
Ernest is survived by his children, Faron Steele of Pine Ridge, SD, Walter Steele of Riverton, WY, Kia Steele of Oglala, SD, Steven Steele of Pine Ridge, SD, Bobbi Steele of Pine Ridge, SD; grandchildren, Cameron, Caleb, Jordan, Grace, August, and Katherine Steele all of Pine Ridge, SD, Caylee Steele of Riverton , WY, Kaylee, Zanaya, Jayde Steele all of Pine Ridge, SD; cousin Sherry Yellow Bird-Steele, Frankee Gallego both of Pine Ridge, SD; Godson, Cody Red Wing of Pine Ridge, SD
Ernest was preceded in death by his parents Ernest Russell Steele, Sr., and Estelline (Esther) Henderson, and grandfather, John Yellow Bird-Steele.
Pallbearers will be Walter & Faron Steele, Jeremiah Cuny, Melvin Twiss, George Twiss and Arlin Janis
Honorary pallbearers will be all friends and relatives.
