Graveside services for 84-year old Floyd Coleman of Chadron, NE, will be Friday, Nov 20, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Greenwood Cemetery in Chadron with Dr. Russ Seger officiating.

Floyd Coleman was born on Sept 22, 1936, in Whitney, NE, and passed away on Nov 14, 2020, at Crestview Care Center in Chadron.
Floyd graduated from Chadron High School, where he played football. While in high school he earned his Eagle Scout Badge. He also graduated from Chadron State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Secondary Education and played football in college as well.
Floyd was a retired math teacher, working the majority of his career at Thornridge High School in Dolton, Illinois. He moved back to Chadron after retiring because of his fond memories of growing up there.
He enjoyed coaching football and wrestling, hunting, fishing and camping. He will be greatly missed.
Floyd is survived by his loving son, Zorn (Karyn) Coleman and three grandchildren, Olivia, Aidan & Ava Coleman.
