Formal charges have been filed against a Rapid City man in a fatal shooting Tuesday night at a mobile home in the city.
43-year-old Jason Ray Sharp is charged with 2ond-degree murder in the death of 19-year-old Ocean Sun Eberlein of Rapid City. A court appearance is scheduled for Monday.
The Pennington County Sheriff’s Office says the shooting was reported by a neighbor on South Hwy 16 who heard gunfire. First-responders found Eberlein, who was taken to a hospital where he died, while deputies found Sharp at the scene.
