The 2nd picture, showing the elevators that used to be here, could have been taken from the riverbank that is my backyard! The 1st photo shows most of the Ponoka Stampede Grounds. As you can see, the "camping area" is HUGE and is filled with mostly BIG RVs but lots of trailers as well. In addition, here are 3 other parking/camping lots as well. The main grandstand holds a bit less than 3000 people. There is also a huge midway for the youngsters.
