Frost, Nebraska Reports COVID Cases From Testing

In an exclusive interview conducted with both the Omaha World Herald and Lincoln Journal Star, Nebraska head football coach Scott Frost says the University has tested close to 250 athletes since mid-April with 8 positive cases of the coronavirus.

Five of those positive cases were football players and one football staffer.

Frost announced the numbers days after Nebraska said that they would not report the numbers themselves to the public, citing HIPPA laws, but were reporting to their local health district.

Frost concluded the interview by saying, “Nebraska has pushed forward aggressively, but with community safety and player safety in mind every step of the way.”
