Gramberg Resigns From WNCC Board, Successor Applications Open

SCOTTSBLUFF – The Western Community College Area Board of Governors is taking applications to fill the board seat of Dr Merlyn Gramberg of Chadron, who resigned effective last Tuesday.

Gramberg became the District 1 member on the WNCC board 21 years ago, shortly after retiring from more than 30 years as a professor and administrator at Chadron State College.

District 1 is L-shaped, covering all of Dawes, Sioux, and Sheridan Counties, the western half of Cherry County, and all of Grant County in the Sandhills.

Residents of the district interested in filling 4 remaining years in Gramberg’s term should send a letter and resume by the 22nd – 2 weeks from tomorrow – to board secretary Susan Verbeck at the WNCC main offices in Scottsbluff.
