According to his social media accounts, Chadron State football player Trent Grizzle will be the next head football coach at Crawford High School.
Grizzle takes over for Rick Barry who is leaving to become the activities director at Chadron High School.
Grizzle was an offensive lineman for the Eagles the past three years and prior to that was an all-stater at Fairbury High School.
Grizzle inherits a team that went 4-4 and fell just shy of the D6 playoffs last season. The last time the Rams made the playoffs was in 2019.
