Hay Springs Builds Large Lead, Rolls Minatare


If there was a record for most points scored in a half of football, Hay Springs may have set it on Friday night as they rolled to a 71-0 halftime lead over Minatare on their way to a 77-0 win.

The Hawks scored in every facet of the game, offense, defense and special teams.

Gage Mintken counted for five touchdowns on the night. He had three rushing scores, a punt return for a touchdown and a pick six.

Cutter Scotts also tallied a pair of rushing touchdowns as the Hawks move to 2-3 on the season and head to Crawford next Friday night in a game we will have on FM 107.7 KBPY and
