History In Action Day On Sunday

The Dawes County Museum will be hosting its annual History in Action day this Sunday. September 26th at their location three miles south of Chadron on Country Club Road.

The day will include activities for folks of all ages, plus their regular museum displays.

You’ll be able to press apples into cider, shelling corn, grind wheat into flour, and churning cream into butter.

The new addition will be open for visitors to see the most recent displays of Handmade lace, as well as the restored railroad cart. They will have a new setup of beauty shop items right next to the barber shop.

The will be a $6.00 lunch being served from 12:30 to 5:00 in the main building and it is free for all to attend.
