Husker Football Adds Iowa Transfer As Walk On

The Nebraska football team added a pleasant surprise on Wednesday with the addition of former Iowa offensive lineman Ezra Miller.

Miller was a 4-star recruit out of Rock Valley High School in Holstein, Iowa who signed with the Hawkeyes back in 2019 and redshirted his only season in Iowa City.

Miller left the Iowa program back in May initially citing back pains leading to a medical retirement, but recently revealed mental health struggles and said he needed time away from football.

Because Miller was a scholarship player at Iowa, he will have to sit out one season in accordance with the NCAA transfer rules.
