A Pipestone, Minnesota man has been identified as the person who died Friday afternoon in a motorcycle crash west of Keystone that left a second person hospitalized.
The South Dakota Highway Patrol says 64-year old Michael Kruger was the driver of a 3-wheel motorcycle that failed to negotiate a sharp turn.
The trike went off the roadway and both Kruger and 58-year old Kendra Woetendyke of Sioux Falls were thrown from it.
Kruger was pronounced dead at the scene while Woetendyke was transported to Monument Health in Rapid City with life-threatening injuries. Neither of them was wearing a helmet.
