Funeral Services for 61-year old Isadore “Izzy” Poor Thunder Jr are Monday, July 12, 2021 at 4:00 at the CAP Office in Martin, SD, with Pastor Darren Purdy officiating.
Burial is in the Grace Episcopal Cemetery in Martin
A one-night wake service starts Sunday, July 11, at 2:00, also at the CAP Office in Martin
Isadore E. Poor Thunder Jr was born on May 22, 1960 in Red Shirt Table, SD to Isadore Poor Thunder Sr and Tillie Moeller. Izzy made his journey to the Spirit World on July 1, 2021 near Martin, SD.
Izzy is survived by his children, Virginia Poor Thunder, Isadore Poor Thunder III, Joey Poor Thunder, and Sammi Jo Blacksmith; siblings, Ron Two Bulls, Mary Poor Thunder, Fern Poor Thunder, Hermus Poor Thunder, Craig Poor Thunder, Sr., Jennie Flye, JD Flye, Sandy Flye, Russell Flye, Wanda Cottier, Francis James, and Charles Duane; and numerous nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.
Izzy was preceded in death by his parents, Isadore Poor Thunder, Sr. and Tillie Moeller; daughter, Santana Sioux Standing Bear; sisters, Violet Bettelyoun and Virginia Poor Thunder; brothers, Donald Two Bulls, Ricky Two Bulls, and Joseph “Buzzy” H. Poor Thunder; and grandmother, Jennie Marshall-Two Bulls.
Pallbearers will be Percy Cottier, Kevin Twiss, Ryan Butcher, Rusty DuBray, Robbie DuBray Sr, and Ronald DuBray Jr.
Graveside pallbearers will be Joey Poor Thunder, Isadore Poor Thunder III, JD Flye, Russell Flye, Joseph W.
